We are a family owned and operated business.
The Library's collection consists of printed materials (books, monographs, newspapers and periodicals), multimedia resources (VHS, CD-ROM, DVD) and online journals in the various areas of knowledge. A reference collection composed of reference works, such as: dictionary, encyclopedia, among others. There are more than 14,000 copies. The entire collection is computerized, making it easier to access and search for information.
And to maintain the expansion of the collection, the library has a Collection Development Policy . In which the updating of the bibliographic collection is carried out every six months by bibliographic indications, established together with the curriculum of the disciplines offered by the FAP Undergraduate and Graduate Courses, as described in the Pedagogical Projects of the IES Courses. In addition to these bibliographies, it has titles of reference works, periodicals and special materials, which are fundamental to the theoretical framework of the areas of knowledge.
The library receives suggestions for purchasing materials through the Librarian Portal . These are evaluated, checking the relevance and pertinence for the composition of the collection, in order to meet the needs of the students. The analysis for acquisition is the responsibility of the Selection Committee.
